Nurse Practitioner Jessica Fanucchi

Nurse Practitioner Jessica Fanucchi brings her enthusiasm and love for children to our growing practice. Prior to joining Kids First, Jessica worked as a nurse practitioner in pediatric gastroenterology at Advocate Medical Group. She had been a pediatric RN for eight years before becoming a nurse practitioner. Jessica says her decision to become a nurse practitioner was an obvious one, “I love the pediatric population and wanted to expand my knowledge and expertise.”

The best part of her job in pediatrics, says Jessica, is always the children. “I am a big kid at heart! I love how silly they are and how resilient they are.” Jessica brings her fun-loving disposition into the exam room, where she tries to make kids comfortable by sharing a laugh.”

Jessica is also passionate about family-centered care, where the focus of care for each child is centered around each family’s needs.

Pediatrics, says Jessica, is “really a big team effort, where everyone on the team has to be collaborating.” She sees that this is the way the staff at Kids First operates, and she’s excited to be a part of it.
