Tali Moore, M.D.
Dr. Tali Moore Widawer joined Kids First in late 2024 after completing her residency at Lutheran General. She knew from a young age she wanted to be a pediatrician, combining her love for working with children with her passion for science and medicine.
Originally from Los Angeles, Dr. Moore earned her undergraduate degree at UCLA before attending medical school in Israel. Training in a diverse healthcare setting gave her invaluable hands-on experience, strengthening her clinical skills and deepening her commitment to pediatric care.
At Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, Dr. Moore developed a strong interest in general pediatrics, lactation support and adolescent mental health. Throughout her residency, she became known as a trusted resource for breastfeeding medicine, helping new mothers navigate nursing challenges. She is currently working toward obtaining her lactation consultant certification to further support families in this important aspect of early childhood care. “Breastfeeding medicine is something I’ve always been drawn to, but after nursing my own children, I gained an even greater appreciation for how complex and fascinating it is,” she says.
Dr. Moore enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients and their families, caring for children from infancy through young adulthood. She has a particular interest in preventive care, nutrition, and managing conditions such as ADHD, anxiety and depression.
Outside of work, Dr. Moore cherishes time with her husband and three young children. She loves exploring Chicago, traveling, and discovering new family-friendly activities in the city.
Dr. Moore is thrilled to be part of Kids First Pediatric Partners and is grateful to partner with families to promote their children’s health and well-being.
