Developmental Screening

KFPP uses standardized screening tools at various ages of early childhood to aid in identifying children with potential developmental delays. Completing the Ages and Stages Questionnaires and the MCHAT-R Questionnaires prior to your appointment is vital to your child’s care.  In completing the questionnaires prior to your arrival, this allows you to be an active participant in your child’s overall care. Discovering deficits in your child’s development allows us here at KFPP time to provide additional resources for further evaluation and therapy to ensure your child reaches their full potential for development. The Ages and Stages Questionnaires screen and assess the developmental performance of children in the areas of communication, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, problem solving, and personal-social skills.
