Daphna Rosen joined KFPP in late 2021 after working at Access Community Health Network, a Federally Qualified Health Center where she supported low income families. She attended Columbia University School of Nursing in New York earning her degrees as an RN and nurse practitioner. She worked in primary care at Jacobi Medical Center in New York, helping to lead an outpatient, comprehensive NICU follow up clinic. Daphna is passionate about supporting children with special health care needs and helping families in general pediatric areas like health, wellness and obesity.

Daphna is a native Chicagoan and now lives within a few blocks of where she grew up. She’s a mom of two, and her claim to fame are the “Sunday Fundays” family outings she plans every week.

She’s thrilled to work at KFPP where she says she was attracted to the warm environment focused on the children of the community. Daphna says, “I’m drawn to the collaborative and supportive environment where children and their families can come for comprehensive care, and where you become part of their families.”

Daphna loves working with pediatrics and says, “Kids make you think, and you can go to ridiculous lengths and creativity to make them laugh. I love forging a relationship with both the child and the family that lasts. I enjoy being involved in educating young minds about healthy living and safe choices.”
