We are thrilled to welcome Pat Lawrence, CPNP to our growing practice. Nurse Practitioner Pat joins our three other wonderful nurse practitioners on staff: Karen Gentile, Jean Russo and Stephanie Brennan.
Prior to coming to Kids First, Pat was a nurse practitioner at the Child and Adolescent Center in NorthShore Evanston for 15 years. Because that clinic closed, we welcome several new families to the Kids First family, who joined Pat in the move.
While Pat says it will take time getting used to our all-digital charting system, when it comes to taking care of children and families, her years as a nurse practitioner and as a nurse prior to that will serve her well at Kids First. “The kids are the same wherever you go, and it’s always good to take care of them,” says Pat.
In pediatrics Pat especially enjoys working with preemies and teens and helping patients of all ages who deal with asthma.
In every case, says Pat, the most rewarding part of being a nurse practitioner is helping children feel better and reassuring patients and their parents.
When she’s not busy working at Kids First, Pat likes so spend time reading and crocheting.
